Grafton, WV, Train station

When the Baltimore and Ohio built the Grafton (WV) Train station, up to 30 passenger trains stopped in town per day.  All those travelers needed a place to stay, so a hotel was constructed next to the station and featured a direct connecting walkway.    President Harding once gave a speech here, and John D. Rockfeller stopped during his tour of his coal interests.

As of 2023, the train station remains vacant, with hopes of finding funding for restoration and an occupant.
